Wireless Power Transmission Powering Miniaturized Low-Power IoT Devices
Achieving the provision of a continuous power source for small IoT devices requires the careful design of RF energy harvesting (EH) systems to minimize conversion losses and enhance the efficiency of power conversion from limited RF sources. Additionally, for intelligent IoT sensors and devices with varying power demands, a power management stage with energy storage becomes essential to deliver temporary power surges beyond what is harvested. This presentation offers an in-depth overview of an RF wireless power energy conversion system tailored for miniaturized IoT applications (eg Bluetooth low energy node for bird monitoring). Furthermore, this talk will feature a compelling demonstration of the RF power transfer from a drone to distributed IoT nodes.
