Microwave and Optical Interconnects for Superconducting Circuits
As superconducting circuits for classical and quantum signal processing grow in size and complexity, it becomes essential to develop robust and wide-bandwidth interconnects both between modules in the cryostat and between room temperature and the cold environment. Interconnect design has to minimize signal loss and heat load, while maximizing bandwidth and efficiency. In this talk I will discuss techniques to transfer signals to and from superconducting circuit modules, with particular emphasis on optical interconversion of both classical and quantum signals.
