Circuits and Technologies to Enable 100Gbps+ Communications in D-Band
mm-Wave and sub-THz frequencies are attractive due to availability of wide bands of spectrum that can support 100Gbps+ data-rates. To utilize this spectrum, rapid pace of innovation is on-going in many areas including transistors technology, packaging, and system architecture. This talk covers recent circuits designed on silicon technologies to enable these high data-rates. In addition, the presentation discusses specialized/mature processes, leading-edge nodes, and packaging technologies and the role they could play in this space.
