Digital Twin PI Simulations for 2000 Amp AI, Cloud Compute, and Multi-Die Packages

Delivering thousands of amps to next-gen high-speed digital designs is a critical challenge for AI chips, multi-die packages, and cloud servers. This talk will explore Power Integrity (PI) digital twin simulations for managing complex power delivery networks (PDNs) with 100s of capacitors, multi-phase voltage regulators, and dynamic loads. We will cover model fidelity trade-offs and lessons learned from simulating a 2000-amp load demo board, using DC and AC EM simulations, decap optimization, and stability analysis techniques. The session highlights how PI digital twins can prevent costly hardware failures in high-current, high-speed systems.
