Understanding the Nuances of Being Human: Implications for Radar-Based Human Motion Classification
This talk will discuss how human traits, such as kinematics, language, and cognition, reveal themselves in RF data and how they can be exploited to design physics-based AI/ML approaches that offer improved performance for human activity and gesture/sign-language recognition in real-world settings. Emerging ideas for overcoming these challenges and initial results for health monitoring and human-computer interaction will be presented.
