Leveraging Radio Astronomy Techniques for Enhanced RF and Microwave Sensing

Advanced developments at the National Research Council Canada’s Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre (HAA) are setting benchmarks in radio systems technology from cm- to sub-mm-wave bands. The team is at the forefront of driving innovations and enhancing receiver systems for major radio astronomy observatories. This talk will provide an overview of these initiatives and discuss how these radio astronomy techniques can be adapted for RF and microwave sensing in IoT.
