Ultra-Low-Power, Long-Range Trackers Enabled by mm-Wave Backscatter and Radar Principles
This talk will describe the role that mm-wave-enabled backscattering technologies are playing in delivering responsive, accurate, and cost-effective localization systems. First, the use of FMCW radars as mmID readers will be described, followed by the design of planar and 3D retrodirective architectures and their deployment to enable very high accuracy and long range 3D localization and tracking of static and highly dynamic targets.
