For the past 150 years, a switch is the original and most basic building block of all electrical systems, and for the past few decades many have sought to miniaturize and scale this fundamental electrical building block through MEMS based technologies. With frequency performance from DC to K-band, voltage withstand to >150V, linearity >90dBm and high RF power capability >25W, ohmic RF MEMS switches provide an ideal performance for controlling and configuring existing and next generation RF test and communication platforms. The technology capability is just being realized and will enable and drive future RF system innovations through the high-performance simplicity of a switch.
