Workforce Development in the Changing Spectral Environment

The continually evolving number of wireless device applications and spectrum usages requires a growing and capable workforce, capable of managing spectral resources today and into the future. Training the present and next generations to manage the spectrum and design effective devices and systems to use it is imperative. This presentation overviews new efforts to grow, inform, and train present and future spectrum workforces, and microwave engineers and scientists that can effectively utilize the spectral resource.
