Photonics-Based THz Generation for THz Communication Testing and System-Level Demonstrations

The talk will cover the use of photonics-based THz generation to enable THz communication/testing of active and passive devices (eg Reflective Surfaces, waveguides, beamformers), in the range 140–800GHz. Wideband power measurement of uni-traveling-carrier photodiodes, recent D-band antenna characterizations and system-level validation will be presented as well as high-data-rate communications in the H-band (240–320GHz) and WR1.5 band (500–750GHz).
